What the system does not do
External game systems
ADS Quest System manages quest data and states, but it does not replace the other systems in your project. It does not provide an inventory, economy, experience progression, ability system, dialogue system, or a finished quest journal. It exposes identifiers, data, and events so you can connect it to your own systems.
Reward delivery
ADS Quest System does not include an inventory system and therefore does not directly add a reward to the player. When a quest is completed, it notifies your project that rewards are available, including through its dispatchers. Your game logic can then react and award the item, currency, experience, ability, or custom reward through your own inventory or progression system.
Custom gameplay evaluation
Actual progress for objectives other than locations and completed quests depends on ADS_QuestLogicBase. The plugin cannot know how your project counts items, enemies, or interactions, so this logic remains yours to implement.
Final user interface
The demonstration widgets show one possible integration, but they are not a finished interface. You need to create or adapt the quest journal, icons, feedback, and presentation to match your art direction.
