What the system does not do

ADS Directional Trigger detects how an area is crossed and runs the actions you configure. It does not decide which behaviours are appropriate for your game.

The system does not create gameplay actions automatically. You must create or select Blueprint children of ADS Directional Trigger Action that contain your own logic. Apart from the demo examples, it does not provide ready-made door, music, cinematic or stat-change behaviours.

It does not detect a complete path, complex trajectory or player intent. It uses the movement observed when entering or leaving to choose the closest direction. Very small or poorly aligned movement may therefore produce no recognised direction.

Finally, configurable events are limited to the four horizontal red, blue, green and yellow directions. Up and down can be identified in event data when enabled, but have no dedicated action cases or dispatchers.
