How it works

Place an ADS Directional Trigger in your level and adjust it to the area to watch. The coloured arrows visible in the editor show the four horizontal directions recognised by the area: red, blue, green and yellow.

Then choose the cases you need: an actor can enter through a side or leave through a side. Attach one or more actions to each case. When an allowed actor crosses the area in that direction, the system runs the matching actions.

You can restrict detection to the player, an actor class or a tag. To create a game-specific reaction, create a Blueprint child of ADS Directional Trigger Action, define its behaviour, then select it in the trigger.
