How it works
ADS Merchant System works around three simple elements that complement one another.
The ADS Merchant System Subsystem is the central point of the system. It manages trades between the player and different merchants, as well as prices, stock, promotions, donations, and information that must be retained.
The AC Merchant Store component is added to every actor that should become a merchant. It lets you define what that vendor offers: items, prices, currencies, store levels, and possible locks.
The Blueprint logic connects the system to your project. In particular, it defines how to retrieve or change the player inventory and currencies. You can therefore use ADS Merchant System with your existing systems without replacing how they work.
In practice, your interface simply asks the system what a merchant offers, then sends it the player’s purchase or sale request. The system checks the trade conditions and updates the store; your Blueprint logic applies the changes to the player inventory and currencies.
